Junior Research Fellows

Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) are a key part of the College, contributing to a vast spectrum of world-leading research, representing multiple University departments and hailing from diverse international backgrounds.

Junior Research Fellows 2025

Junior Research Fellowships are fixed term awards of College membership, given to early stage academics, often before final submission of their PhD or shortly afterwards. They are awarded on the basis of research excellence, are prestigious and highly competitive.

性视界传媒 is home to an active research community of over 30 Junior Research Fellows, and each year it elects up to ten new Fellows under Title BI.

JRF Competition 2026

The College is looking for passionate and creative researchers in any discipline to join a cohort of dynamic and exciting researchers. The new Junior Research Fellows (one-year, non-stipendiary, renewable for a further two years) will not only work on innovative research and engage directly with contemporary issues, but also support our students, providing them with mentoring and guidance to become the next generation of researchers.

In addition, with the generous support of the , the College welcomes applications for one Isaac Newton Trust non-stipendiary Fellowship from across the STEMM subjects.

Applications open on Friday 1 August 2025, with a deadline of Wednesday 1 October 2025.
