The ÐÔÊӽ紫ýgardens consist of a series of lawned courtyards forming a set of garden 'rooms' within a 10-acre site, with some stunning herbaceous borders that provide structure, seasonal colour, and plenty of places to revise, relax, and socialise. Families are encouraged to enjoy the College grounds, and are welcome to use the gardens for games, picnics, relaxation, or even dinner using the College BBQ. Further information about the College gardens can be found here.
The Student Garden
The College Student Garden was established in 2019 to enhance student wellbeing; many find gardening a welcome break from study. The garden is located behind Barton House, where there are plenty of opportunities to plant and grow vegetables, herbs, fruits, create a habitat for wildlife, and whatever else your imagination allows! Students meet regularly on Sunday mornings to plan, hoe, harvest and drink tea. The garden is not currently wheelchair accessible, but the College is planning to develop the garden to introduce paths and raised borders.
